What's In My Makeup Bag?!

Hi guys I am back with another post! With all the travelling that I have been doing recently, and with much more to come I thought it would be a fun idea to share with you my favourites in the cosmetics area recently which are in my makeup bag! I honestly love these posts/YouTube videos because they're like "What I've Been Loving Recently" & "My Current Favourites" kinda posts/vids. So without further or do, here's the post!

First of all I like to keep with me two different primers with me when I am travelling, which include the L'Oreal Nude Magique Blur Cream which is awesome for blurring pores (I use the shade for light to medium skin). I also like to take along with me a primer that's good for a dewy look on the skin which is the L'Oreal Lumi Magique Pure Light Primer which is also great as a liquid highlighter!

When it comes to foundations, I like to have options! I would usually take just the one foundation which would probably be the L'Oreal True Match (which I have loved for so long now!) but on longer trips, especially if I might be going out or have fake tan on, I like to carry other shades and types of foundation that help to match the stages of my tan or that have more of a lasting complexion on my skin. With that I'd add in my Bourjois healthy mix serum Gel Foundation, which apparently is 16hrs (I beg to differ - it's not 16hrs but it does last a good amount of time) but this is a lovely foundation for a more glowy or dewy skin look; "radiance-boosting even, revived complexion". If I plan to go out for an evening and prefer a darker and long lasting foundation then I will opt for my beloved L'Oreal Infallible foundation which is perfect with my fake tan and has never failed me. This one probably would last for 16hrs!

I only take with me one powder to set my face with, my L'Oreal True Match powder. This little thing is actually really great for on the go because it comes with small poof and a mirror in a separate compartment which is handy. I always take this, especially even if just on a night out and use it to powder my nose briefly. But to apply it all over my face I use my Real Techniques Duo-Fibre face brush which is popped into my makeup bag also.

Another brush I'll take with me on my travels it the Real Techniques powder brush which I often apply a light bronzer with. I often take 3 bronzers in my makeup bag, those being the Accessorize baked bronzer in Monaco (Shade 2), the Collection Shimmering Glow Powder in #7 Gold (perfect for a bronzed goddess//highlighted look) and lastly my contour kit from e.l.f cosmetics with a blush and bronzer duo. My only other blush I tend to take with me recently is the Avon true colour blush in the shade Soft Plum.

On to eyebrows; in the bag is my e.l.f Eyebrow Kit in Dark, for a more defined brow look and my Rimmel eyebrow pencil in 001 Dark Brown.

Surspringly, I have only packed 2 lippys in my makeup bag, those being Mac's peachstock and Revlon's Pink Pout (which I have fallen in love with again haha) I have two concealers in my bag, the Maybelline Cover Stick in 02 Vanilla and this Tea Tree Concealer which I don't know where it's from (it just has the url www.badgequo.com? on the bottom) and the shade is in Light. These act as both brilliant brightening concealers and are actually very similar to each so I don't seem why I felt the need to pack both of them??

Moving on to eye products, I packed a little palette which I believe I talked about in my last makeup video (GRWM: Wintery Look) but it is the Revlon Photoready palette in 505 "Impressionist" which has a trio of shadows plus a primer + sparkle, but these all blend so well together and are so mesmorising it's brilliant for first timers and is so quick and easy to do! I packed my L'Oreal Blackbuster Super Liner in Black because although I don't wear eyeliner a lot I still can't live without it. And lastly is my all time fave, the L'Oreal Volume Million Lashes 'So Couture' Mascara in the shade 'Black Mascara' - THIS MASCARA THO. If you prefer more wet mascaras this is 4 U!!! It is brilliant and I can't even go into it bc this post is already pretty long.

But that is it makeup-wise - all that's else is a couple more brushes which are in the photos below! If you have any questions, please leave a comment or email me at my business address: melissanye058@gmail.com.

Hope you all had a fun and safe New Year's and a lovely Christmas and I'll see you soon with another post or video!
